This place never disappoints. I met two friends for brunch, enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with peach juice (only 28!), a breakfast pizza and the Benedetto which were both delicious and enough for 3 ladies to share. Highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming here each time I visit the area.

I absolutely love grabbing breakfast at this charming spot on 2nd street! Their coffee selection is fantastic and the breakfast items are reasonably priced.

In a party of four, I ordered breakfast and coffees on a weekday morning. I ordered the uova benedetto, essentially an Italian take on Eggs Benedict with pesto, fresh basil, poached eggs, prosciutto, and provolone on focaccia. It was delicious, although a bit challenging to cut with the butter knife provided. They had a nice selection of seasonal coffee options, and the seasonal latte I ordered was delicious! One of the drinks we ordered was delivered incorrectly, but the baristas corrected it quickly and were friendly. I would order breakfast and/or coffees from this restaurant again if I visit Long Beach again.

During my experience, I experience good customer service; an employee helps me navigate the menu toward a Vegan option, the Kale e Radicchio. I like the interior of the establishment. The vibes during my visit are cool, really good for anyone trying to get work done or hang out. The meal is decent. The pecans (no honey on them, if you're curious like I when eating) are the most flavorful portion of the meal, the apple chunks are the juiciest part of the meal, and the rest of the meal flavor-texture wise is of the olive oil (not too heightening on my taste buds), to me. Otherwise, the meal is fine for a filler light snack though doesn't really feel like a complete meal within me.

Just came with a friend for a late night espresso and a small cookie. In true Italian fashion, they brew dark roast coffee for their espresso, so be prepared for that if you typically prefer light or medium roasts. The cookie was of a perfect size to accompany the strong espresso. The vibe of the place is pretty chill, with many people quietly doing their own thing at their tables. The woman who helped us was helpful and sweet. Cool spot overall.

You can’t beat the quality and cost. Super affordable and delicious! Haven’t tried gelato, but all the breakfast options are amazing. Bagels are really good, Sexy bagel is my fav. Pesto chicken sandwich is fire, omelette and their special breakfast yummy. Super fast & food & nice price. Recommend!

Thank you for being open Christmas day! Taking orders with a Smile. So glad we found it. Menu is large for food. They have lots of beverages to pick from including beers, mimosa coffees etc. I tried the gingerbread latte it was yummy! Be patient for your drink if busy. Worth it. Got their omelette -also good! Husband got breakfast burrito and said was also good. If you are near by give them a try! Small little place, but has indoor n outdoor seating.

Let’s settle the gelato debate first. Aroma di Roma serves what might be Southern California’s finest—creamy, dense, and balanced without cloying sweetness. At 6.50 for four scoops, it’s a steal compared to trendy spots charging double for half the portion. Yes, grocery store ice cream is cheaper, but this is the real deal: lower fat, richer flavor, and craftsmanship that mass producers can’t replicate. The coffee gelato alone justifies the visit. Imagine espresso concentrate swirled into a velvety base with a ribbon of something between caramel and fudge—not quite either, but better. It’s deep, slightly bitter, and lingers like a good pour-over. If this flavor vanished, loyalists would stage a sit-in. Service shines here. Staff greet regulars by name, explain flavors patiently (try the pistachio if they’ve restocked), and never rush decisions. Their warmth feels authentically Italian, like the kind your Sicilian nonno would approve. Claro’s Italian Market? A decent deli, but their gelato lacks this punch. Aroma di Roma’s secret? They focus on freshness. Batches rotate daily, so flavors like blood orange or stracciatella taste vibrant, not freezer-burned. Pricing leans premium, but fairly. A 14 margherita pizza isn’t Domino’s. You’re paying for ingredients, not grease. Parking: Snag the 24-minute spot out front for quick grabs. For longer stays, free spaces sit one block away. Pro tip: Arrive before 3 PM weekends to avoid the post-beach crowd. Final call? This isn’t just gelato. It’s a passport to Italy via Long Beach.
